The Rocky River Run is an annual event that raises funds for the local Rotary Club and all funds raised are distributed to organisations promoting mental health & well-being in the community, and to those with a particular focus on youth suicide.
This year's event included a 2 kilometre adult/kids run/walk/wheel, a 5 kilometre walk and wheel, a 5 kilometre run/team challenge , a 10 kilometre run and a 21 kilometre half-marathon.
Our very own Adam Bryan competed in the 21km half marathon completing it in 1 hours 47 minutes, placing 70th out of 149 participants in that category. We also had 9 staff participate in the 5km walk or run, including our morphmen.
We had 5 volunteer staff cheering on our runners and working with four of the boys from CQ NRL Bid handing out balloons, stress balls and tattoos.
Everyone involved had a really great day and it was fantastic to see so many of our staff participating.
